The Phoenix Montessori School

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.  Tuesday, August 30th; Wednesday August 31st and Thursday, September 1st are orientation days for all NEW students at Phoenix.  We will meet from 9 to 11am those mornings.  Please make sure we have your emergency and health forms in the office when you bring your child the first day.

Friday, September 2 will be the orientation day for all RETURNING students, from 9 to 12:15pm.  Children need to be picked up at 12:15.  Please send lunch and a drink on Friday so we may go through the lunch routine.

Everyone will need a tote bag to bring their work home in and a complete change of clothes in a large ziplock bag with the child’s name clearly marked on it.

Tuesday, September 6th will be the first full day of school for everyone.  See you soon.  Alice & Holly

This year we will be offering extended hours for parents needing before or after care.  Children may be dropped off at 8am and picked up by 4pm.  Limited space will be available.  If you are interested in this option please contact Alice by August 15.

We have a serious peanut allergy within our student population and therefore, Phoenix is requesting that no peanut butter or peanut products of  any kind be brought to school this year.  Please be careful also, if you are bringing birthday treats or other snacks for the class that there are no nuts in them.  Thanks, in advance, for your co-operation in this matter.
